A few of Jane's achievements

Founded by Andrew Job in 2018, Plotlogic uses AI and hyperspectral imaging technology to deliver highly accurate ore characterisation in real time. Their technology enables greater ore recovery, reducing waste and enhancing the geological model.

Andrew Job engaged me to establish his brand positioning, visual brand and brand assets.  After undertaking market research including client insights work, I articulated the brand positioning for Plotlogic. Plot Logic now services mining companies around the world. The Plotlogic team has also grown substantially and today numbers 30 employees. With a Head Office located in Brisbane,

Plotlogic’s first overseas subsidiary will soon open in Brazil.

Multinail is a 40-year-old Australian, family-owned business supplying nail plates, software and machinery to frame and truss fabricators. Multinail had an energetic, committed staff; cutting edge machinery; leading software and the best support and service in the industry.

It’s just that the market didn’t know it. To revitalise the brand, I completed client insights research. I then clearly differentiated Multinail with a brand story that reflected how far Multinail had come: fresh energy, innovation, increased productivity and agile, responsive service.

The brand tone – professional, progressive, but slightly irreverent and 100% Aussie – resonated with Australian fabricators. For 40 years, fabricators were ‘rusted on’ to their nail plate provider. In 14 months, we broke the loyalty stranglehold and Multinail’s market share increased by around 15%.

Power on Australia is a national power quality specialist providing power solutions to some of Australia’s leading companies and organisations such as Rio Tinto, BHP, ABC, Ladbrokes, Honeywell and Visy.

When Power on Australia moved from a product based model to a service model, I was engaged to revitalise the brand and reposition the company. The owners wanted to move from a ‘box selling’ mentality attracting smaller customers to a power protection service provider.

After undertaking market research and client insight work, I articulated the brand positioning, which was then rolled out across the brand assets such as a new website, video and written case studies and a new LinkedIn company page.

In the period after the website launch, leads tripled and increased in quality. Power on Australia has gone from strength to strength, won a number of industry awards and due to demand, the company has moved to a much larger site.

In the middle of the milk wars, I devised a campaign to promote a new brand of milk to the South East Queensland market – Scenic Rim 4Real Milk. Facing his processor’s renewal contract below the cost of production, Dairy Farmer Greg Dennis broke away from the accepted business model of almost all Queensland dairy farms to process, bottle and market his own milk direct to stores.

Marketing would be crucial, but with a budget already stretched, the marketing would have to be clever, cost effective and importantly, deliver results. I had 8 months to build brand awareness and consumer demand. When we launched, milk sold out within hours; stockists doubled within the month and the brand is now stocked throughout Queensland.

Greg Dennis won Australian Farmer of the Year and my campaign was awarded ‘Marketing Program of the Year’ in the Australian Marketing Awards for Excellence in 2014.

Helen is an experienced strategic marketing consultant whose experience includes construction, engineering, government, not-for-profit, technology, banking, and many other industry sectors across B2B and B2C.

She has worked with many SME enterprises in the areas of logistics, online retail, construction and technology, directing internal and external teams to effect positive change.

Helen’s core focus is helping organisations to clarify their core values and capabilities, successfully pitch that to appropriate market opportunities and work across teams develop and deliver promotions strategies that engage with key markets.

A few of Helen's achievements

Over the 5 years prior to the commencement of this project, the product had experienced steep decline. Helen worked with a team to conduct comprehensive international research (5 countries) that revealed the cause of the decline was that this product’s unique differentiators were still relevant to the market, but were not being actively supported. The subsequent rebrand and repositioning resulted in 3% sales growth in the Australian market, where this product was experiencing its most profound slippage, before the global project was completed. The global rollout plan was delivered via international conferences in Istanbul and Sydney, and commenced execution through Macmillan Education in November 2016.

They were able to focus effort on winning a $3m supply deal with a major player in electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the USA. The clarity and focus that resulted from this work saw them grow into a $10m business within 1.5 years.

During this time Helen’s team won a $22m supply tender, executed a rebrand and engaged in extensive change management across the organisation to help it evolve from an “operations-focused” to a “market-focused” organisation.
